Our journey through South Dakota turned out to be a marvelous experience, marking the milestone of our 50th state visited. Unaware of the state's beauty, we regret not discovering its wonders sooner. To commemorate this special milestone, we celebrated by the state line sign, a significant moment in our travels. Our time in South Dakota was filled with horseback riding, fishing, camping, and enjoying evening fires. The pinnacle of our adventure was a visit to Mount Rushmore, a national memorial featuring the unforgettable faces of four influential U.S. presidents carved into the mountainside. Truly an awe-inspiring experience.
