Our journey through Oklahoma embraced delectable BBQ cuisine and a visit to the splendid State Capitol. However, the most profound and memorable moment was our visit to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. The experience was sobering and deeply impactful. The memorial, with its nine rows of chairs symbolizing each floor where lives were lost in the bombing, stands as a powerful tribute. The inclusion of smaller chairs representing the young children who perished in the daycare center adds poignant layers to the memorial. It is undeniably a solemn and significant place, reminding us to remember and honor those affected by the tragedy.
