NEW JERSEY

Our family journey centered around the State Capitol in Trenton.  Serendipitously, our visit coincided with a special event – the rare opportunity to witness Governor Chris Christie entering the Capitol and being interviewed by Barbara Walters. This added an extra layer of excitement as we observed the interaction between the governor and the esteemed journalist.  Amid our tour of the capital, we learned the rich history of Trenton, New Jersey. The stories surrounding General George Washington, the pivotal Battle of Trenton during the Revolutionary War, and the treacherous crossing of the Delaware River captivated us. This trip not only provided valuable knowledge but also deepened our appreciation for the founding of our country.
