MARYLAND

A state that effortlessly crafts unforgettable memories.  An Orioles baseball game at Camden yards unfolded as a spectacular blend of intimacy and tradition. History lessons at Fort McHenry captivated us, especially the tale of Frances Scott Key penning the Star-Spangled Banner during the War of 1812. Baltimore Harbor welcomed us with open arms, and the tour of the USS Constellation was a special treat. Annapolis' Capitol proved worth the visit, but the pinnacle was a tour of the U.S. Naval Academy with a friend who graduated there, serving our country proudly in a submarine. Maryland, undoubtedly among our favorite states.
