California has been the canvas for a lifetime of Jackson's memories, holding more snapshots than any other state. From horseback rides, to 4th of July parades in Huntington Beach, to exploring the State Capitol, and island hopping to Catalina – each moment is etched in our family album. Indian Guide escapades, grandma's pugs, mountain getaways to Big Bear and desert getaways to La Quinta, kayaking adventures, retreats to Alisal Ranch, fishing escapades, and cheering on the Angels at baseball games. Special Olympics, motor home road trips, Monterey Bay Aquarium wonders, and stepping aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier in San Diego are all part of the California tapestry.  The roots run deeper as we explored family farms in Northern California (Modoc and Shasta Counties). Jackson got a firsthand look at my upbringing – growing alfalfa, operating combines, tractors, forklifts, and the equipment used to harvest the crops. Amidst the political landscape, Jackson met a myriad of officials, from Presidential candidates to Governors, Senators, and Congress members visiting California. Each encounter, a chapter in our journey through time.
