A cultural extravaganza that left us in awe! Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant kicked off our journey into Creole and Cajun cuisine, setting the stage for a culinary adventure. Yet, the experience extended beyond the plate. The lively Jazz music of the French Quarter echoed the spirit of New Orleans.  I can still hear “Hold that Tiger” being sung in gentle jazz fashion.  A poignant highlight was the tour of the World War II Museum, where exhibits unfolded the war through the eyes of those who lived it. Structured to immerse visitors in the era, it was a truly sobering experience that deepened our appreciation for history and our veterans.
