“It’s often been said that the road to a long-lasting Republican House Majority runs through California and Orange County,” said Johnson. “We’ve got two great members in Orange County currently in Congress, and come November, we are going to add Scott Baugh to that list. Scott is a battle-tested conservative who knows what it takes to win. A lifelong Californian, Scott continues to be a leader in his community and continues to show the true meaning of service above self. As a small business owner, Scott knows that America’s economy thrives when the government is kept out of the way of free enterprise. I enthusiastically endorse my friend Scott Baugh for Congress in California’s 47th District and look forward to working with him in Congress.”
“I am honored to receive the support of Speaker Johnson,” said Baugh. “Under Speaker Johnson’s leadership, Republicans in the House will fight to cut government spending to reduce inflation, will work to reduce federal regulations that stifle economic growth and will vote to secure our borders so we know who wants to enter this country and can vet them first.”
