Club For Growth endorses Scott Baugh in CA47
Newport Beach, CA — Today, the Scott Baugh (R-CA47) for Congress campaign announced that Baugh has received an early endorsement from the Club For Growth PAC.
“I am honored to receive the early and enthusiastic support of Club For Growth,” said Baugh. “For years the Club For Growth has fought for limited government and economic freedom, principles I believe are desperately needed to get our economy back on track and to expand economic opportunity for all Americans.”
In 2022, the Club For Growth PAC spent $2.3 million supporting Baugh’s campaign against big-spending incumbent Katie Porter, helping to force Porter to spend nearly $29 million for her reelection and holding her to 51% of the vote. Porter has decided not to seek reelection in 2024, leaving the seat open.
Club For Growth points out that Scott Baugh is a “champion for cutting taxes”, opposing regulations and earmarks and is a supporter of school choice.
