Scott Baugh launches the first TV ad of the General Election

NEWPORT BEACH, CA –Today, Scott Baugh (R-CA47) kicked off the first TV ad of the General Election campaign. Watch the ad here.

The ad began airing today across the 47th District on major Cable Networks. The race in the 47th District is a top target for both parties.

“Our economy continues to head in the wrong direction and we cannot wait to turn things around. Congresswoman Katie Porter voted for a massive spending increase this year that has made inflation worse, and she voted to increase taxes on retirement investments, gas, oil and small businesses,” said Baugh.

Scott Baugh is an Orange County business owner and an active member of the community, having founded the OC Marathon Foundation, a local charity that has helped teach 40,000 young people about exercise and nutrition. Scott has also served as Chairman of the Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership which works with law enforcement and parents throughout the county to keep kids out of gangs. He is a trustee at Pacifica Christian High School in Orange County. Scott and his wife Wendy live in Huntington Beach. He has lived in the district for over 30 years.

The new 47th District includes the cities of Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa and Irvine.
